About Songive

Songive turns a short story about one person — their name, the occasion, the way you actually talk about them — into a three-minute song with their name in the chorus. It arrives in about two minutes, in any of 20 languages, delivered as a private gift link the recipient opens and keeps.

Why we built it this way

Most music platforms are built for the people making music. Songive is built for the people giving it. The whole product is shaped around one moment — the recipient opening a link, hearing their name in the chorus, and knowing the song was made for them. That gift-first asymmetry drives every decision: the brief is short enough to fill while you are thinking about someone, the preview plays before you pay, the gift page travels with a private link, and the song stays yours forever. We do not ask you to learn music software. We ask you to tell us about one person.

How the song is made

It starts with the brief. You tell us a name, the occasion, and a paragraph about the person — a habit, a memory, something only the two of you know. The brief is the whole game; specifics in produce specifics out.

We write the lyrics around the paragraph you gave us. The words become a finished song — in the genre and voice you chose, in the recipient's preferred language. Karaoke-style timing is added, so the lyrics scroll in sync when the recipient hits play. The whole thing takes about two minutes from brief to delivery.

If the first song misses

You can revise the brief and we will make a new one — free. If the second one also misses, we refund the order. The do-over exists because the brief-to-song match is what varies most between users, and we would rather generate again than ship something that does not land.
